Claim Academy is a premier developer boot camp. Our boot camp offers immersive on-campus and online programs in software engineering and cybersecurity in St Louis. The Company Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the client companies and organizations that seek to hire Claim Academy graduates. This role also involves taking leadership in developing mutually beneficial working relationships and achieving partnership growth with employers and local organizations that will directly benefit Claim Academy’s professional development programs. The Company Engagement Manager will serve as an intermediary for both the client and Claim Academy students. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide system enhancements, process improvements, and training to facilitate the student placement with these companies and organizations. You should be a master of organizing programs that engage employers. This is a fast paced environment and must be mission minded.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independently manage activities with employers and communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate the management of the client’s priorities.
- Share knowledge of duties and clients with fellow employees.
- Coordinates with companies and organizations to have them attend Demo Day Career events, Cyber Days and conduct interviews with Claim Academy graduates.

Knowledge and Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical recruiter and/or account manager.

Admissions Representative (Entry Level) (AR)

Claim Academy is seeking an experienced Admissions Representative (Entry Level) (AR). The goal of the AR is to work with prospective students through the application & admissions process, from inquiry to acceptance, overseeing the entire admissions process for your prospects. This position will be the primary contact and the welcoming face of the school to our prospective students as they navigate our admissions process and get to know more about Claim Academy.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial pre-qualification of leads based on a brief phone discussion.
- Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past to re-engage their interest in furthering their education.
- Manage the entire lifecycle from application to admission. You will actively move our student applicants through the process of applying; starting with the student application process, enrollment in our courses, scheduling and conducting interviews, and communicating admissions decisions.
- Be the expert on Claim Academy’s course offerings; answering any and all questions from prospective students via phone, email, text message and in-person conversations.
- Track and report all admissions and enrollment data daily and weekly in our CRM with a high level of attention to detail.
- Continue to develop processes and systems to improve the admissions and enrollment process.
- Staff regular admissions-related events, including information sessions, open house events, speaking engagement, Alumni and campus tours, and more. Some weeknight and weekend work may be required, including as much as 1 weeknight event per week and as little as 1 weeknight every other week.
- Work cross-functionally with our corporate management team, business office, education and career services, outreach representatives, Office of the registrar, and marketing teams to provide a seamless student experience.

School Certifying Offical

The Veterans School Certifying Official (SCO) provides excellent customer service to eligible veterans, civilians, military students and family members applying for and receiving Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) GI Bill educational benefits, Tuition Assistance (TA) from agencies/enterprises, and Vocational Rehabilitation, Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) and Employment (VR&E) benefits. The School Certifying Official performs these duties with an emphasis on compliance with federal and state regulations, the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education, and adherence to Claim Academy policies and procedures. The School Certifying Official accepts responsibilities for interpreting, explaining, and analyzing VA policy and changes and evaluating and monitoring the student eligibility for benefits processing associated with this designation. This is a non-supervisory position. This position does not require travel.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists with the development and implementation of office policies and procedures to meet Claim Academy’s responsibilities in the VA enrollment certification process.
- Serves as the primary Certifying Official for all VA education benefits.
- Prepares individual student enrollment certification requests.
- Verifies the accuracy of enrollment data and confirms the eligibility of each VA student certified.
- Inputs certification data into the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and Claim Academy’s databases.
- Maintains appropriate certification records and supporting documents in accordance with DVA Regulations, State Approving Agency (SAA) standards, and Claim Academy policies.
- Implements controls and audit checks to protect against institutional liability.
- Monitors the enrollment and academic performance of each VA student to the DVA in accordance with DVA regulations and Claim Academy’s policies.
- Reports all subsequent changes of program and/or registered hours to the DVA.
- Ensures that each VA student is pursuing a DVA approved program of study.
- Consults with faculty advisors to ensure that every course for which a veteran student is certified fulfills our Certificate requirement.
- Maintains a working relationship with other administrative and academic offices to insure accurate and timely reporting of student status to the DVA Regional Office.
- Serves as a resource person for all VA educational information.
- Interprets and advises all VA students regarding DVA regulations governing the receipt of their VA educational benefits and programs, to include Advance
- Payment, VA Work Study Program, and Tutorial Assistance.
- Researches and responds to all inquiries regarding all VA certifications.
- Contacts the DVA on behalf of the VA students to resolve and/or clarify discrepancies.
- Tracks the progress of VA students pursuing acceptance into specific certificate programs.
- Maintains written and verbal communication apprising them of the DVA parameters of certification.
- Coordinates timely filing of all DVA, TA and VR&E documentation ensuring all paper and computer records are adequately safeguarded and properly retained and assists in the development and revision of office policies and procedures, as required.
- Reconciles all incoming payments and prepares deposits for Claim Academy’s accounting office.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires an associate’s degree, with at least four years of experience in an office or administrative support position. Additional education may not be substituted for this experience requirement.
Prefered Education/Work Experience and Desired Skills:
- Three years of experience as a School Certifying Official, or a bachelor's degree and one year as a School Certifying Official.
- Prior U.S. military experience, preferred.
- Experience in the higher education sector is preferred.
- Able to operate with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities of the Admissions Director include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings to both consumers and employers
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
- Lead, hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of Admission Representatives.
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, motivation, up-to-date Admission processing techniques, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, time management,, projecting future performance and by creating a fun working environment.

Participants enhance their learning with multiple career coaching, networking events, soft skill training by producing a final capstone project or examination. Software developer students complete a capstone project which they present to potential employers on demo day, a hiring event. Cybersecurity students are required to complete the CompTIA Security+ certification examination. Extensive career training and placement assistance are provided, leading to many of our students receiving offers before they even graduate.
Claim Academy is seeking an inspiring mentor to serve essentially as an Teachers Assistant in our C#/.Net cohorts which are both in-person and online. The Instructor will deliver an approved curriculum through engaging lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on assignments while the Mentor supports the curriculum.
As a full-time Claim Academy Mentor, you will provide mentoring for our prestigious program based on an established curriculum approved by MDHEWD and the Department of Veteran Affairs. You will guide students through assigned course work and prepare students for their capstone project. You will work with a collaborative team to meet our mission of changing lives, and provide a professional student-friendly classroom environment.
This will be a full-time role based in-person. This position reports to the Campus Manager.
Minimum Requirements:

Claim Academy is seeking experienced Instructors to teach our boot camps; educating online & in-person students towards a certificate in one of the following development areas:
Full-stack Java Developer
You’ll be responsible for instructing our students in your area of knowledge (from the above options) in either a full-time (12 week) or part-time (20-week) capacity using our approved curriculum. You’ll work with current students from the introductory stage all the way through to building their capstone projects. You’ll be the primary contact and the face of the school to the class as they navigate from no experience in coding to building successful capstone projects and graduating with a certificate.
At Claim Academy, we craft our classes with care and look for students who share our values. We select a small group of highly motivated and passionate students for each class from among hundreds of applicants. You will be responsible for building each class, seeking out our current students’ values, and crafting groups of people that will accomplish amazing things together. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our organization’s rapid growth by helping students change their lives through a new career in technology.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years of verifiable work experience in the software development field.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or other related fields with a minimum of 3 years experience in software development AND Java Developer Certifications (i.e. AWS, OCAJP, OCPJP, Spring, etc.)
- Candidates with teaching experience are preferred. A teaching demonstration will be required as part of the interview process
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of our Instructors:
- Passionate about Coaching and Mentoring.
- Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
- Prepares materials for the approved curriculum.
- Prepares daily assignments.
- Participates in academy initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the academy concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- Motivates students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
- Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with academy standards.
- Real-world professional experience with Full Stack Development.
- Proven educational or administrative experience in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Competencies related to the development of curriculum & course subject matter, teaching & learning theory, information resources & evaluating student outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the Computer Science field.
- Must have a deep understanding of your field, industry-recognized professional certifications are a major plus.
- Candidates with both professional software development and leading/teaching experience are preferred.
- Candidates must submit to an interview process, including a 30-minute demonstration lesson.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus. Must be comfortable with change and extremely adaptable.
